Pricing FAQ
- What counts as a "download"?
- A download is a single artifact we deliver to you. A 5-image carousel counts as one. A profile preview counts as one when you grab the set.
- Is there a rate limit on the free tier?
- Yes: 3 downloads every 6 hours, enforced by a one-way hash of request signals rather than your raw IP, with a Cloudflare bot check in front of it. That hash is pseudonymous rather than anonymous, and standard security logs (which can contain IP addresses) are kept for about 30 days. The paid tiers will raise the limit when they launch.
- What's the difference between monthly and annual?
- Annual plans bill once per year and save you 20% versus paying monthly. The features are identical. Cancel anytime; if you cancel mid-year you keep access until the end of the period.
- Do you retain the files I download?
- Today, no. Every download streams through the worker straight to your browser, and nothing is persisted server-side. The audit-logged case archive (30 days on Pro, 90 days on Studio) is in development. When it ships you'll be opted-in by default on paid plans and can opt out per-download. We never analyse, derive from, or share downloaded content regardless of plan.
- Is the Chrome extension included in the free plan?
- Yes. The Chrome extension is free for everyone regardless of plan. It works without a socials.download account.
- Can I get a refund?
- Billing isn't live yet, so there's nothing to charge or refund today. Once it launches: refunds within 7 days of purchase, provided the account is unused. Email contact@socials.download and we'll process it.
