Platform status
Supported platforms and media types
12 platforms work in the browser today, with no account and no extension. This table is generated from the same data the downloader itself uses, so it can't drift from what actually runs.

Platform support can change when source platforms update their websites or delivery systems. A dash means we haven’t published a verification date for that platform yet.
Known limitations
- Instagram: Profile previews return up to 18 recent posts. A carousel link opens the whole post, and each image can be saved separately. If the link names a specific image (Instagram adds ?img_index=), it opens on that one. Stories only exist while the account has one active; they expire after 24 hours. Story lookups depend on third-party relays we do not control, and are rate-limited. If they are busy or unavailable you are asked to try again rather than shown an error. Private accounts are not supported.
- TikTok: Profile previews return up to 18 recent posts. Stories only exist while the account has one active; they expire after 24 hours. Live broadcasts are captured only by the tracker service, and only while they are running. There is nothing to fetch after one ends. Private accounts are not supported.
- Depop: Shop previews return the seller's most recent listings, not their whole catalogue. A listing link saves its first photo. Use the shop preview to save every photo in a listing. Depop's bot protection is inconsistent on listing pages, so a single listing occasionally has to be retried. Private shops are not supported.
- Reddit: Gallery posts return the first image only. Private and quarantined communities are not supported. A Reddit share link (the /s/ kind the app copies) can't always be resolved from our servers. If one fails, open it in Reddit and paste the full post link instead — the one with /comments/ in it.
- X (Twitter): Media is taken from the linked post itself, not from replies or quoted posts. Protected accounts are not supported.
- Pinterest: Individual public Pins only. Whole boards are not supported. Secret boards are not supported.
- Tumblr: Streaming-format (HLS) videos are not supported. Mature-content-flagged and password-protected blogs are not supported.
- Bluesky: One media item per post link. Deleted posts cannot be recovered.
- Facebook: Only public content downloads. A public reel, video, Page post or photo works; a personal-profile post shared with friends only is not served to a signed-out request at all, and the site says so rather than failing vaguely. Stories are never available. Facebook redirects a signed-out request for a story straight to its login page, so there is nothing to fetch. A post with several photos returns the main image, not every image. Facebook does not expose the rest of the set to a signed-out visitor. An account link returns the profile's name and picture. Listing that account's posts needs a logged-in session, so the post grid is not shown.
- LinkedIn: Only public posts work. A post limited to connections, or anything behind the login, is not served to a signed-out request at all. A post with several images returns the first one. LinkedIn does not expose the rest of the set to a signed-out visitor. Document and carousel posts are not supported. A slide deck is a PDF attachment rather than a media file. An account link returns the name, headline and picture. Listing that account's posts needs a logged-in session, so the post feed is not shown.
- Snapchat: Only public accounts work. Snapchat serves nothing about a private account to a signed-out visitor, so there is nothing to preview or save. Public Stories are shown while they exist. Snapchat expires them, so an account that posts regularly can still show nothing right now. Lenses and Discover channels are not downloadable. A Lens is an AR asset rather than a post, and there is no media file behind it. Snaps sent directly to someone are private and are never reachable. Only Spotlight posts and public Stories are.
- Twitch: Clips only. A clip downloads as an MP4 at the best quality Twitch stores, up to 1080p. VODs and live streams are not available. A VOD is an adaptive stream delivered in thousands of pieces and often runs for hours, so this service does not reassemble one. That is our limit rather than a block by Twitch. A channel link lists that channel's recent clips. Its past broadcasts are not listed, because they are VODs. Subscriber-only and otherwise gated content is not reachable, and no Twitch account is used.
Not available
These are worth being explicit about, because the site used to imply otherwise:
- Instagram Stories, reliably — they work, anonymously and with no login, but they are read through third-party relays we do not run. Those relays are rate-limited and occasionally go dark, so a story lookup can come back “try again in a minute”. Posts do not depend on them.
- TikTok livestream recording — not available.
- Browser extension — not publicly released, so nothing here depends on having it.
- Private content — private accounts, paywalls, login walls, and DRM are out of scope on every platform. We don’t bypass them.
